"Whinturn’s Jewels Journey is our Destiny”
"Whinturn’s Jewels Journey is our Destiny” (aka Destiny) turned 2 years of age on May 19, 2024. She is from the breeding of our girl Jewel and Rustic Pines Journey to Sunkozi (aka Dino).
Destiny has received all her clearances through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, with an EXCELLENT result for her hips.
She has received clear results for all her DNA tests as well, so we are happy to welcome her into our breeding program.
Destiny is a playful pup with lots of energy, loves to play with our pup Eden, but can hold her own with the big girls too. She is a medium gold colour and a slender frame like her mother. While her high energy can be a handful, she is food motivated and loves to please.
Destiny resides at Whinturn Goldens and has recently become a mom having her first litter Oct. 26 2024.
Destiny had her puppies right on schedule October 29, 2024.
Motherhood looks good on her...
After just over 8 hours, she has 9 beautiful puppies, 7 males and 2 females.
Destiny has settled in to motherhood like a champ. Nursing and caring for their every need. The puppies are all dark gold like their Daddy. “ Sunkozi wild Highlander” aka Tay. Many thanks to Beverley Farquhar from Sunkozi goldens and Betty Wolf, Tay’s owner, for assisting in this partnering with Tay.
Pups will be available to go to their new homes in late December.
It is a golden time at Whinturn.

Destiny's birth story
With Destiny's due date fast approaching and this being her first ever litter, Whinturn Golden's founder was on high alert for any signs that labour would be starting. Two nights of restless/no sleep for Bev passed while Destiny showed little signs she was ready to birth her puppies.
Labour day
Shortly after 11am on Oct. 29th, 2024, Destiny's first puppy came into this world! Straight away we could tell Destiny was going to be an amazing mother just like her mother Jewel was!
Several hours later, labour finished and Destiny had 9 puppies.
Her labour went smooth, and she was an absolute star.
Puppy love
Destiny had 7 males and 2 female puppies, they range in golden colour, some light golden to some quite dark reddish golden. All puppies are healthy sizes and latched on to get fed right away.
Night one is over and all the puppies and mom are doing great, and human mom Bev has had a chance to catch up on a bit of the sleep she missed while waiting for the litter to arrive!
As this litter is predominately male, we do still have a few puppies that are not yet spoken for, if you are interested in a puppy please contact us or send us a puppy questionnaire. Family visits will begin in the next few weeks for families of these puppies!
